Sculpture Space has brought together a great team to work on this project.
Archivist in Residence Marc-Anthony Polizzi is a Utica-based artist and Sculpture Space alumnus who grew up in the area and returned after studying and working in post-Katrina New Orleans. Polizzi’s work has been shown in cities across the United States, including Chicago, New York City, New Orleans, and Kansas City.
Digital Project Manager Arden Kirkland is a Hudson Valley-based digital librarian who focuses on providing online access to cultural objects so that they can be better understood and appreciated by their communities, and better used for research and education.
Polizzi and Kirkland worked closely over the summer of 2016 with two interns from local colleges, Cassidy Brown from Utica College and Ruth Bender from Cazenovia College, who helped with photography, research, and outreach.
